Anime Adaptation of ‘Sono Keisatsukan Tokidoki Yajū!’: Key Staff Announced

An anime television series adaptation (Sono Keisatsukan Tokidoki Yajū!) was announced on March 27, 2025. The series is produced by Rabbit Gate and directed and written by Saburō Miura, with Kazuhiro Toda serving as chief director, Yukihiro Makino serving as assistant director, and Haruna Kamiyama designing the characters. It is set to premiere in 2025.

The TV anime adaptation of the Teen’s Love manga ‘Sono Keisatsukan, Tokidoki Yajū!’ has been announced, along with its main staff. Kazuhiro Toda will serve as the general director, Saburou Miura as director and scriptwriter, Yukihiro Makino as assistant director, Haruna Kamiyama as character designer, and Hisayoshi Hirasawa as sound director. Rabbit Gate will handle the anime production.

The original manga is a popular series serialized in Ichijinsha’s electronic book label ‘LOVEBITES’, having surpassed 2 million copies in total circulation (including electronic sales). It depicts an adult romance story that begins with a male police officer, who feels responsible after witnessing an accident that fractured a female office worker’s arm, moving in with her to provide support.
